AwakenHub and AwakenAngels Trade Mission: Empowering Women Founders on a Global Stage
AwakenHub & AwakenAngels have landed in a super snowy USA for St. Brigid’s week 2026 with a 22 strong delegation of exciting women founded startups, angel investors and partners from across the island of Ireland.
As levels of investment in women founded businesses is still a critical issue matched with equally poor numbers of active female angel investors investing in women founders on the island of Ireland, our annual Trade Mission will showcase the talent of AwakenHub women founders in health & lifesciences, retail, digital tech, agri-food.
Now in its fourth year, the AwakenHub and AwakenAngels trade mission is dedicated to driving economic growth by fostering an inclusive and thriving ecosystem that champions women founders. Focused on connecting talent with opportunity, this mission provides a dynamic platform for Irish women-led ventures to scale and succeed in the US market.
We are also looking to encourage the Irish diaspora to angel invest in women founded startups via our AwakenAngels syndicate.
We are hosting a series of events between 1 - 6 February starting in Boston and moving onto New York to include Founders Showcases, curated events in the British Consulates private residences with the support of the Consul General of Ireland in both cities.
