AwakenHub Members Celebrate Regional Wins at the Seedcorn 2025 Competition
There’s a special kind of energy running through the AwakenHub community this week as several of our members head to the All-Island Final in Dublin, having been named winners at the InterTradeIreland Seedcorn 2025 Regional Finals.
These incredible founders have put in months of hard work, sleepless nights, and endless refinement of their business plans. Their wins are not just a reflection of great ideas, but of courage, consistency and connection. The companies received €50,000 and will now advance to the All-Island final to be held in Dublin this November.
The competition is the largest business competition of its kind on the island of Ireland, offering a total prize fund of €800,000 to promising start-ups and early-stage businesses.
🏆 RoutineRoo, Pauline Timoney (Northern Ireland, B2C Winner)
For Pauline Timoney, taking part in the Seedcorn competition was a journey of growth as much as business.
“The competition really pushed us to refine every aspect of our business plan,” Pauline said. “The process alone would have been worth it, but winning gives us a real boost at the perfect time, with cash flow and marketing funds to support our next chapter.”
🏆 HaPPE Earth – Mary O’Riordan (Munster, B2B Winner)
Mary O’Riordan, Co-Founder and CEO of HaPPE Earth, described the experience as both validating and motivating.
“For a circular business model to be recognised in Seedcorn’s B2B category is such a boost,” she said. “It’s an honour to be among such high-calibre founders. This recognition gives us the momentum to keep growing and expanding our impact.”
🏆 Gigi Supplements – Jennie Haire and Lisa Hughes (Dublin, B2C Winner)
Jennie Haire reflected on the long journey to this win.
“What started back in 2023 as a learning journey to finally taking home the win today is the most incredible feeling,” she said. “It’s been the ultimate lesson in persistence.”
🌟 Regional Finalists: Ainmhi Beauty and CRAOI Theory
We are also celebrating Sarah Farrar of Ainmhi Beauty and Clodagh Ryan of CRAOI Theory, both recognised as Regional Finalists. Their creativity and leadership continue to inspire everyone around them.
Each of these women embodies what AwakenHub stands for: courage, collaboration and community. Their achievements show what happens when women back each other, share their knowledge and cheer one another on.
Next stop, the All-Island Final in Dublin on 13 November. The future is bright, bold and female-founded.
